Hello, I’m Chaika Chursina

I am a multidisciplinary artist, educator, creative coach. Currently based
in Shanghai, China. As an artist I express myself through photography, songs, poetry and stories. However this website is for my photography only.

For me photography is a universal language which unites people all over the world. It provides ability to not only show things from my perspective, but to tell a story without saying a word.

I believe every person is beautiful in her\his own way. And I love capturing your individuality and unique beauty in my portraits. Once in a while I hire a photographer for my precious self — so I know how it is to be on another side of the lens.

I admire the life itself - as a priceless gift. We are surrounded with marvelous things. Tiny miracles which most of the time we don’t notice - cause they became a routine. So we pass by: the drops of morning dew on a web, the reflection in the puddle, the light making its way through the flower petals. I capture it. The everyday life.
